I host a weekly radio show here in southern Colorado. It is called the Trinidaddio Blues Hours, and airs on KCRT-FM 92.5, a commercial station broadcasting from Trinidad, Colorado. The show is on from 8-10 p.m. Mountain Time on Wednesdays, and we are now streaming live on the internet.
To listen to the show streaming live, go to kcrtrocks.com between 8 and 10 p.m. U.S. Mountain Time (do the time-zone math for your area, country, or galaxy) on Wednesdays. Click the “listen live KCRT-FM 92.5” button and enjoy the music and humor.
My co-host Darnell Miller and I play a wide range of blues styles. A favorite segment of the show is Darnell’s Delta Delights, when Mr. Miller reaches back into the vaults and showcases classic blues from the 1940s – 1970s, many of which are seminal recordings in the idiom and the source of inspiration for today’s artists. We also play contemporary releases (if we like them) and feature all styles which are blues-related, including jump, swing, rock’n’roll (real rock’n’roll, that is), boogie-woogie, soul, zydeco, rhythm and blues, gospel, and delta acoustic blues.
